Alice Mbekenga | | PROPOSAL ON LAND 640 HECTARES (1,600 ACRES) AVAILABLE AT MUTIPULE MKAMBA DIVISION MKURANGA DISTRICT COAST REGION UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA.
DESCRIPTION
A total of 640 hectares (1,600 acres) of land is available at the above location distance 120 kilometres from the city center askari monument dar-es-salaam. The road is tarmac up to kimanzichana 82 kilometres.
As required by law (land ordinance) the land is surveyed and beaconed. Survey plan no. 35467 deposited in the office of the Director of survey and mapping in the ministry of Land and Human Settlement No. 1946 mbezi, Mbulani villages mkuranga District Coast Region Term 33 years w.c.f. 1st july,2002.
The land lies with in the vicinity of the Giant Selous Basin and Rufiji trough which are suspected to contain oil/gas but no exploration has been conducted. Speaking of the oil find Mr. Yona Killagane the managing Director of Tanzania Petroleum Corporation said:
“ It includes the deep sea areas in the Indian ocean in the 300 - 3,000 meter range as well as the great lakes Region the potential is formidable. Same report suggests Tanzania Coastal waters may contain up to 4 billion barrels of oil deposit, The land is about 30 km across to the sea shore .
I have in mind the following projects subject to finance obtaining:
1- TOURIST COMPLEX:
Africa is a great region to be investigating if you are investing in the hospitality and leisure sector in the next decade, and mega events such as the Confederation Cup and FIFA 2010 World Cup(TM) will boost this even further. In 2006, Africa in fact boasted a 8,1% growth in tourism according to the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and was led by sub-Saharan Africa (+9.4%), while North Africa (+5.8%) also ended the year above average
Plan and construction of a Tourist Complex comprising of a hotel and Game sanctuary /snake park . International sport facilities one being Golf course of 18 and more halls, plus other facilities such as international football ground ,tennis court, squash and racket ball, baskect ball e.t.c..
A lot to do with tourism can be established there depending on the interests of the investor.
Both foreign local and tourists from villages and the city of dar-es-salaam will pay visit to the complex for a number of days, enjoy the game viewing the availability of sport facilities and the atmosphere of the surrounding of Neem tree plantation.
JOINT VENTURE
This short profile on the 640 hectares land is out to attract the would be investor with financial resources to come aver and conduct negotiations of the proposed project, the Investor is free to put up counter proposals other than the already proposed project. After agreement has been reached experts will arrange to prepare and write a bankable Feasibility Study for the entire land 640 hectares of which the profile has been presented.
